We got our start in 2021, experimenting with drought-tolerant plants in the sun-soaked soil of Twentynine Palms. What began as a backyard curiosity quickly turned into a full-fledged desert nursery rooted in resilience, flavor, and beauty.

At 29 Figs Nursery, we specialize in plants that love the desert as much as we do. From the spicy kick of hot peppers to the timeless sweetness of figs, our passion has grown—quite literally. Today, we proudly cultivate 29 unique fig varieties, alongside other desert-loving favorites like jujubes, persimmons, pomegranates, mesquite, palo verde, and more.

Our first big harvest—20 pounds of jalapeños—was just the beginning. Since then, we’ve celebrated milestone after milestone, including the joy of spotting our first ripe figs in September 2024. That moment sealed our mission: to bring you the best of the desert, from tree to table.
