Star Dune Saloon sits on the Star Dune Ranch property and is fully accessible to guests of the ranch. It’s a BYOB sort of place with a lovely patio off the south side featuring a firepit and shade during the day and a bathhouse to the north with a shower.
A History of Star Dune Saloon
The Star Dune Saloon has been a staple of the Star Dune Ranch property for as long as anyone can remember. Back in the old days, cowboys and ranch hands used to gather here after a long day of work to swap stories and share a drink or two.
The saloon was built by a man named Rick, who had a passion for creating a space where people could come together and unwind after a hard day’s work. He knew that life out in the desert could be tough, and that a good drink and good company could make all the difference.
Over the years, the saloon has seen its fair share of characters and wild times. There have been shootouts and bar brawls, but there have also been plenty of peaceful evenings spent around the firepit, under the stars.
Today, the Star Dune Saloon is still going strong. Guests of the Star Dune Ranch can come and go as they please, bringing their own beverages and enjoying the company of friends, old and new. The patio on the south side of the saloon is a favorite spot for guests to relax and take in the stunning views of the desert landscape.
And for those who need to freshen up after a long day of adventure, there’s a bathhouse to the north, complete with a refreshing shower. The Star Dune Saloon is a true gem of Twentynine Palms, and a testament to the enduring spirit of the Old West.
Now of course this history might be considered a tall tale by some, either way, the Star Dune Saloon is a great place to hang out.
